Voting Guide: Why Tiara Auxier is the Voice Summit County Needs
Welcome to the first in our series of GOP voting guide emails, where we highlight the candidates who are fighting for our values and working hard for our community. Today, we are focusing on the race for Utah House District 4 and why Tiara Auxier is the clear choice to represent us.
In her first two years as your Representative, Tiara Auxier has worked hard for our community, turning our concerns into actionable results. During her time in office, Tiara has:
Ensured Fair Representation: Spearheaded legislation that will ensure equitable representation on the Summit County Council.
Protected Taxpayers: Championed and passed legislation that puts an end to a loophole that was automatically raising property taxes.
Held Developers Accountable: Fought hard against the Preliminary Municipality legislation used by developers to start their own cities, and successfully passed guardrails this past session that force developers to use more realistic projections.
As you can see, Tiara is listening and delivering for the people of Summit County. Her opponent, Zane Woolstenhulme, is running for the State House after losing his bid to return as the Mayor of Oakley. He was not re-elected because voters felt he wasn't listening to their concerns—a frustrating trend that most Democrat Summit County politicians seem to share.
We need someone who listens and will effectively represent Summit County in the State House.
Tiara has shown that she will listen to the people of Summit County and represent our needs at the State House. She has a proven track record of standing up for us, and she will continue to fight for our community's future.
